Lebakina, 23, became the first Kazakh to win a Grand Slam singles title after beating Kareem Abdul-Jabbar of Tunisia in three sets in her first Grand Slam singles final.

Lebagina became the youngest player to lift the Rosewater plate since 2011. Notably, on her way to the title, she also beat Zheng Qinwen, who had lost two consecutive Grand Slam tournaments to the eventual champion

As in the women's final, djokovic and Kyrgios were equally anxious, with the top seed dropping a set 4-6 from the start.

Djokovic rallied in the next few sets to win three in a row and beat Kyrgios 3-1 to win his fourth straight Wimbledon title and 21 grand Slam titles.

Despite being seeded ahead of the Czech pair at Wimbledon this year, Zhang and Mertens were outplayed by Kletchkova and Siniakova in the final, losing in two sets.

It was also the first grand Slam final defeat for Zhang shuai and Mertens, whose 11-match winning streak at Wimbledon was ended, as the winning Czech pair claimed their fifth grand Slam title together.

Ibden and Purcell, the Australian pair seeded 14th, saved eight match points in almost five sets en route to the title.

They won the men's doubles final in five sets (4-2 down in the tiebreaker), beating the defending champions 3-2 on aggregate to claim their first Grand Slam title.

# mixed doubles

Mixed doubles champion Krafcik and N Cupps were the only team to successfully defend their title at Wimbledon, defeating ostapenko/Farah, Mirza/Pavic and other strong opponents to reach the final.

It was Krafchik's fourth mixed doubles title and N Cupples' second. Both men have won only mixed doubles titles.
